There is a legend in the Sibillini Mountains surrounding Norcia, whose origin has been lost to time. It’s the legend of Sibyl, a sorceress, enchantress, and soothsayer who lives in a paradisiacal underground world, in an eternal balance between the divine and demonic dimensions. Sibyl provides answers and knowledge to those who manage to reach her. But to do so, they have to cross the Devil’s Bridge on lake Pilate and enter the cave at the top of Mount Sibilla. Here, they will be welcomed by fairies and handmaids to a kingdom where ageing, pain and suffering do not exist. Here, they will learn all the languages in the world and be immortal.
