The ham "Re della Selva" (king of the forest) is obtained from legs of Umbrian pigs bred outdoor according to a slow growing plan. Air cured in the Sibillini Mountains at 1000 mt on s.l. for 18 months, this ham capture the classic taste and the unmistakable fragrance of this natural area. The characteristic marbling of the meat gives to the product its particular savoury taste and delicate colour. To be rigorously sliced by hand, it is immediately recognizable by the elegance of the white pepper cover together with the embroided white tissue.
